Lake District - Day 2

Everyone had problem getting up so early... haha...
We had typical English Breakfast.

To our surprise, Brian didnt wake up last night...HE DIDNT WAKE UP AT ALL!!!. Hows that possible? Yes when you have been driving for a FEW days without a GOOD rest... haha...

After checking out, we went to Bowness to catch the Windermere Lake Cruise to Ambledside.


As its SOOO EARLY in the morning, we got the 1st boat which was VERY EMPTY.


In Ambleside we got the Sampan Ride... haha... ITs damn HILARIOUS. As usual, I;m the most chicken one... haha... I wont feel embarassed to admit it... haha...
At the begining, we had trouble setting off... haha... cause everyone's just did not synchronize rolling the sampan.
Then we were the only CHINESE and ONLY SAMPAN on the lake. Just imagine 8 people in a crowded SAMPAN in the middle of the lake screaming... haha... Thinking back just made me wanna laugh like hell...



After the sampan ride, we got back to the ferry and headed back to Windermere.
In the ferry, I met this lovely 'couple' with their 'baby' labrador - Nelson. He is soooo lovable....


Before leaving Winderemere, we visited the The World of Beatrix Potter. Its the cartoon of the babies clothing brand and with some other cute lovely merchandise.. haha... And VERY EXPENSIVE too...
They got this book similar to biography, just that its for a new born baby to paste his/hers very 1st photo, cakes, stockings etc, anything that is memorable...
Its abit TOO EARLY for me... tahts why i didnt get those. .. haha...

Walkin out frm the shop, we saw this super cute Shih Tzu... haha... CUTE...
Of course again PHOTOS... ahah...


Then its SIBERIAN HUSKKIE... haha



From Winderemere we then went to Keswick for the Castlerigg Stone Circle. ITs basically just a heap of rocks arranged in the circle form. ITs actually looks like the Stone of Herritage [dont know the exact name, just agak agak].


There we chased sheeps... haha... Shy animals...
They cause LOTS of POO by the field, made our movement SOOOO TOUGH... haha...



The next stop was Ullswater where we acutally walked 0.5 mile to the waterfall.
Man, I really have phobia with forest & jungle tracking. I think C'en know why... haha...

At the entrance of the waterfall, we met this 2 Golden Retriever & one little fella tied in a booth. Thats so weird to me. but as a animal lover I sure go touch them, sayang them, take photos with them.. haha..


After the waterfall, finally we headed back for Newcastle.
Drivers had a really hard time, as they gotta focus 100% on the road while others just sleep like piggy behind.. haha...
Ohyah, did i mention that Brian & Veronica look so like my Dad & Mum, just like on the way back to Ipoh. Veronica giving him water, lookin out for cars for him etc.. haha.. ANd me & gary ar like their kid... haha.. sleeping behind...

Arriving back at Newcastle the first thing to do was EAT!!!!!!! We skipped lunch, so its LUNCH + DINNER for us...
Then fetch Ziv frm his 'nanny's' place... haha... He was SOOO HAPPPY & EXCITED to see us..haha...

So thats all folks... Tiried now.. gotta go sleep... zzzzz............

Lake District - Day 1

I followed Brian's new BMW while Dan & MF followed Eric's car. This made the car equally 4 person per car.
We took a winding road there, man its winding. But the view's great.

We arrived at Kendal at 1.30pm for the toilets... haha.. Actually we were supposed to visit some places of interest there but the hotel ppl told us basically there is nothing there...so we set off for Windermere.

We arrived there about 2.30pm. First thing to do - Tourist Info Center.
I just step foot there & started spending... GAGA... Bought a few crystal. Lake District is obviously a place with lots of LAKES. So there have LOTs of mineral stones etc. Bought 2 citrine, 1 rose quartz & 1 Quartz.

Our next stop was our B&B. Joe was a super nice friendly guy [as usual i guess].
The rooms were super comfy & coasy. After leaving the bags we drove to Ambleside.
Its a place where everyone gather there to feed the swams, ducks & birds.


Man the look elegant dudes NIP really HARD. We bought duckling foods to feed the big & small fellas.. hehe..
I was really scared of the swans but still wanna feed them... haha...



Everyone took their dog out. Alot of people & I mean A LOT of ppl took their dogs to the lake side. Compared to Newcastle, the dogs are more kept at home rather than going out.
Well, i took a photo with a bull dog. Man taht dog is so cute ^^



After the feeding & photo session we drove down to Lakeside where we visited the Aquarium & Steam Train. As we reached there quite late, we missed the last train ><''//. But luckily we still manage to get into the Aquarium.
Each person had to pay £6.95 [ouch].

And frankly speaking there's NOTHING inside. And I mean NOTHING compared to Singapore's Underwater World. Haih...

I met this cute dogggie at the Aquarium.. haha.. Old English Sheepdog... Thats the breed that i always wanted to TOUCH... MAN ITS SOOO CUTE^^



At that very moment, a ship or ferrie carrying lots of grandly dress people. Guess what, there's a wedding on, and how romantic is that to have the dinner by the lake side & how rich is that to BOOK the WHOLE SHIP for a bunch of fellas.



We left Lakeside at 6.30-7.00pm, then drove back to Windermere for dinner.
We had quite some trouble choosing what to eat. We ended up having Thai food. It seems taht we often hav Thai food huh... weird...
The food was FANTASTIC. It was cooked by TRUE THAI, the portion was 'huge' too... haha...
For 8 people we ate £130 ><''// [ouch again]. 1k for thai food... lei hmm hui cheong...
After settling the bill we [Me, Dan, MF] ended up paying only £40, which wasnt too bad [if dont convert.. haha].
During dinner time was soooo funny... everyone kept on ordering steam rice.
The waitress was basically BUSY with Steam rice orders... haha...
At the end we had 12 steam rice for 8 people.

After makan, the guys went buying beer for the night.
It didnt go as plan, not excatly as plan cause the minute everyone got into their bed, everyone SLEPT like DEAD PEOPLE.
Everyone;s just tired frm the long journey & the heat.
Ohyah i forgotten to mention bout the HEAT. I had headache when I got back to the B&B.

Most of us slept at 9.30pm then woke up at 11.30pm then play chor dai di then the guys had beer while i read my newly bought magazines...
At 2.30am only we all go to bed.
