Moving

Linda's current team will be dismiss and everyone will be moving to a new team. Luckily Stacy will be moving with me and Nicola to Helen's team.
Actually I dont really want to leave Linda, after all I was under her for almost a year. Working under her dont really have much preasure and working with someone you are familar with of course feels better.
We will be moving at the 3rd March. Hopefully we will do well there.

Someone Special

Went to Leah's house for dinner today. Reason going is to pass her the kimchi containers and give her her super belated Christmas present. Luckily I choose to go today but not last week cause her birthday was last week. HAHA.

At the doorway I met this girl, Tang. She's someone really special. One of a kind person I ever met. She's a Malaysian who completed her Law degree 2 years ago. In these 2 years, she had commited everything in doing charity. She's doing all these voluntary work for FREE! Getting only £15 pay for a week. She actually dream of being like Mother Therasa -_-". Aunty and me were like... Argh... haha...
Actually there isnt anything funny about having such ambition. Everyone's just different and have different dream and aim in life and that's her dream. Thats all...

Leah as usual played with me -_-''. I dont think I am a kiddy girl...but she seems to like me very much. I wanted to help her change the battery of her barbie doll, but the damage done was
irreparable (for me). Then we proceed to the living room and do some art stuff. Its the present I bought for her from WHS SMith. Coiling strips of color papers and stick it on something to make something out of it.. haha... I manage to make a really nice flower thou. I actually really enjoy that thing... Think I should get myself one box too ^^.
The kids (Me*LEah) did the art work while the grown up (Aunty*Tang) talk about work. Tang knows alot about surviving in the UK. All sorts of way to get a certain qualification, different kind of job opportunity etc. To my surprise there is a kind of cert to be obtain regarding working in a supermarket (cashier). It trains you how to handle such matters and all the kinds of knowledge you need in running and working in a supermarket. It doesnt mean you MUST have that cert to work there, it just made it easier for you to get a job compared to those who dont have.
When Tang and I left it was already 9.30pm. She's trying to be 'gentleman' and sent me back -_-. I said no but she insist... so I let it be.

Today's pretty good, knowing someone new and special. There's alot more about her that I didnt write it down. Somethings are just indescribable or I am just not too goood in writting and experessing myself. Something certain is she had just become one of the people I met in UK that change my view of things. Someone who changed something inside me.

Quey

A new friend, Quey (I think). Her origin was Vietnamese then the family moved to France. WHY I M NOT VIETNAMES!!! THen I would have moved to France and I would then know FRENCH!! ARGH!!!! Anyway...
I met her from someone in the house and it was CNY Eve Night when she came over. From her first impression, I think she's a bubbly person. Its that charater only she can take up internship while pursuing her degree in International Business. The course she took was superb and brilliant!!!! You gain practical experiece and learn at the same time. Make things even better you travel around the WORLD!!!! Every 6 months she will travel to a new country/place for her internship!! HOW COOOL IS THAT!!!!
SHe got a choice between Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Birmingham, England. She choose England cause she neeed to travel back to Paris very often, choosing KL would be costly and not so convenient. Oh yah, French Edu is freee too!! HOW GOOOD and UNFAIR is that!!!! HAhaha..

Both of us click quite well I think. ONLY both of us were talking non stop about travelling, guys, places, studies etc... It was a really coool night.
I think I will be taking up Spanish!! HAAHA.. MOU MOU kawan datang loh =>. I wanted to learn French but it seems that Spanish is more widely used compared to French. To me all the European language sounds alike to me.. haha... taking French and Spanish wouldnt have much difference I think... AHAHA..

Chor Yat

Its Chor Yat today and we had vegeterian lunch. Loh hon zai, egg, taufu and ham choi. * Yummy * Too bad we dont have those flour kind of stuff granny always buy.
After lunch we went to Chinatown to see lion dance performance. As usual, we always go out late... but luckily we still manage to catch up with the last lion dance. Its really funny when we saw a ang-moh wearing the lion dance uniform. MAN HE IS HUGE!!! We think he is soo suitable to be the head of the lion cause of his height. We took a photo with him as remembrance.

We were too late cause alot of the stalls already closed. There were many stalls set up in Chinatown selling all sorts of chinese stuff - those little drum, chinese food etc.
The most hilarious thing was THERE's a STAGE built for CNY. The kind of stage people use for CONCERTS!!! Ah!!! GILER!!!! THere's a lady on stage as the MC and said something like.. Dont be shy and queue to get ang-baos.. haha... All the ang-moh's were lining up to receive red packet. All they need to say is HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR. I think thats the only thing they know how to say compared to us who know how to say Yu Yu Dak Sui, Sam Seong Si Seng etc.

All of us were caught up at a stall, a stall which sells really beautiful pictures using a very special method. Its a very CHINA thing. They use small little thing (dont know wahts that) to paint out prosperous metaphorical like dragon, phoenix etc. I saw one dragon painted in purple and pink is realllly really sweeet and nice. The Si Fu will use calligraphy method with mao-bi to write out whatever you want. Its soo stupid and funny cause all the ang-mohs want their name to be written in chinese on the painting. HOW STUPID IS THAT? All sorts of name we saw - Thomas, Amanda, Carol etc.

Each of us bought ourself some painting. Hehe.. I bought 2 for the family with the greeting - Always Properous and Peace at home. I was really lucky to get the last gold Dragon & Phoenix ^^. Rest was in black and blue... dont think it look really nice... but its still really nice... look so real and cute.
At first I didnt get the Peace cause she wants to sell me 15 for that. But the minute I saw that painting... I LOVE it... DOnt know why.. but I just love it. Gary and Roy bought a painting with frame for their uncle who do business. The lady want to sell me a frame too but I think its not practical for me to carry that home. Framing it in Malaysia would be better I think.

Its quite fun shopping at that stall although its not my normal shopping.. its still fun =)
May this year be a GREAT YEAR!!!
