Keitoi - the Alaskan Malamute  Posted by Hello

Alaskan Malamute - - - - Muakss - - - - ->>>>

Yesterday was Veronica’s birthday = = > Happy Belated Birthday… Brian is going to give her a Jack Russell as a birthday present [that’s cool & sweet]. So we went to the dogs and cats shelter again… haha… They actually spotted the dog which they want, which is a Jack Russell [lucky them]. But before we went to Benton, we stop by at City Center to have lunch and admen Veronica’s trousers.

The tailor in Granger Market was really nice. I guess most of the British are nice people. Don’t mistaken me as there is NO bad people here…haha… while Veronica is inside trying on her pants, I had a chat with the lady. She went to Singapore before but not Malaysia. Why must this all happen to our beloved country??? Why Singapore always comes first then we do… not fair… hahaha…. Okay, back to the topic. There was once she went to Bali and spent less than 100 pound for a Queen’s life. It’s so funny when she changed the pounds to rupees, she needed her handbag to keep all the money cause it just wont fit into her purse… hahaha… she commented something about the lifestyle of the Indonesians. She said it’s sad because everyone should deserve the same quality life, not such big difference. I think only the developed & rich countries will only give such comments. Then her son is going to marry a Thai girl… but finger cross woh…. Dunno why need to cross… Maybe life is just unpredictable… No one can predict what will happen tomorrow… Thats why we got to finger cross everything... hahaha...

Okay back to Benton. We got to walk the Jack Russell around. This fella just dead loves to mark his territory… urine every corner he passed by… beh tahan him nia… but then he is cute [all dogs are cute to me…]. He is already 5 years old and quite well trained. He knows how to stop when Brian told him to stay, because basically the dog just drag you the whole way… haha… * cute *

Now the most interesting part of the day. The dogs and cats shelter does provide boarding services. There was this super cute, charming beautiful Alaskan Malamute sitting outside the cage having some fresh air. Alaskan Malamute is similar to Siberian Huskies, just that this one comes from the South Pole while Siberian Huskies come from North Pole and Alaskan Malamute is much bigger than Siberian Huskies. * Nice *
His name is Keitoi and he looks fierce because of his eyes which look so like applied with thick eye liner… haha… but then it turns out to be really tame and sweet… the worker there pat him first then only I dare to do so… he is soo cute… and he is just a pup… so he is also really playful…haha…
How I wish to have him during winter, hugging him like a pillow or blanket…to keep myself warm… his coat was sooo soft and nice to touch… CUTE AH!!!!!! If I would migrate to a 4 season country, I think I will get such dog.

Here are some photos I taken there….
I love DOGS!!!!!!!

Meeting + Interview

Today’s weather is just ‘great’… it rained in the morning, so it’s quite cold; therefore I wore turtle neck out.
In the afternoon when I walked to attend the interview for National Insurance Number [NI], its dead HOT… I actually sweat when I arrived at the JOB CENTRE. The weather here is just so unpredictable > <.

How was the interview? I wouldn’t call it an Interview; I would call it Fill in Form Meeting. It’s because basically what they did is check the documents I brought and fill in the form according to the documents. Haha… I was actually nervous before going for the interview. I always hate interviews… I was lucky to get a really nice lady to process my application. Before the interview start, there was this really nice old man processing an Indian’s application, I actually hope that I will have that guy as the person to do my form. Then all in the sudden a ‘chubby’ lady called my name MISS LIM… the first thing that came into my mind was SHIT, because she looks strict but the fact that it turn out pretty well. The lady was really nice and funny. My application was pretty straight forward so it didn’t take much time. I think chubby people are so much nicer, do you guys feel so? I feel so… haha…
National Insurance Number, it’s an account where all employee will contribute some money for the NHS. NHS is the party that in charged of all Health Issue like doctors’ fees, medicine fees, dental fees, doctors and dentals and nurses pay etc. besides that part of the money will go the Pension Scheme who ones possesses. For my case – I won’t be having Pension Scheme eh!!!! And I still got to pay this thing… > >!!!

Today I had my 3rd meeting in office. This time it’s about KSF. Guai lou jia hai Guai lou… they are much more RESPONSIBLE and cares about the tax payer’s money.
KSF is a new project for the NHS. NHS is a government funded organization where they in charge of the Briton’s health care. There are 1.3 million of employees working for NHS. The work quality of each employee is important to them that they have this project to evaluate every employee’s competence and see whether do they deserve the pay that they are receiving now, no matter more or less. If one deserves more, then he or she will get a pay increase. Isn’t this a good plan? Not like our countries where the people just ‘work’ but not work. Processes in the government department are so much faster compared to our country. For instant applying the National Insurance, it took only 1 week for them to process the application. If it would be done in our country, I just can’t imagine how long the queue would be and how long it would take to have the interview … haha… oh yah, I think I forgotten to mention that I nearly fell asleep during the meeting. My eyes are dead tired and couldn’t open. Just like what happen during Puan Ang’s Chinese period… haha… tiring really hard to open the eyes to listen to what she is talking about… haha... . Miss school days >>>>

What should I wear to work tomorrow? The weather would be dead hot in the evening, so looks like I would just wear a thin jacket with a scarf in the morning then only the thin jacket at the evening… hopefully it would be a good day for

Unpredictable

Alystair [I think the spellings like that, not too sure] is leaving next Friday. Found a better job I guess. I think its a wise decision to MOVE. Its not that this job is terrible but its a really boring job... especially after working for 5 years at the same company doing basically the same thing over and over and over again... that’s why I agree that Alystair made a right move.
The surprising thing for me to know was Alystair actually don’t like Zarna… And I was like???? Serious???? Both of them sure look normal in the public. From what Stacy said was he don’t like her because she seldom speak to him and constantly doing her work, I mean NON-STOP… and to my surprise the new batch of people actually don’t really like her too [including me…]. They said she’s stuck up. Stuck up in a way that she thinks she know everything [which the fact is true she knew best than we do] and always look at people in a way that makes people feel uneasy. I personally experience that whenever I ask her something about the work, she gives you this awkward look that just make you feel dead uncomfortable, as if she is looking down at you and feel that you are so annoying [that’s why I don’t like asking her things… unnecessary things].
We too heard that she might be leaving [just not too sure].
I guess everyone is just starting to feel bored with the job and need a new life.

But this is how the world works I guess, there is all sort of human beings walking in the street. You just can’t do anything about it, cant you? Maybe that’s her personality and we just can’t help it but except it.

Wonder will there be a farewell dinner for Alystair? The new batch of people had just made a ‘deal’ of going for dinner every Friday after work; try out all different kind of food in city. I think its great to experience everything NEW with colleagues [I’ve never done that as I never have any colleagues… haha…]. But I don’t think I will be attending EVERY week’s outing. Maybe twice a month, depends to which restaurant we go to. Looking forward to this weeks outing? Maybe yes maybe no, depends to my wallet… haha…

Back On Track Babiee

Finally I got to online… after 2 whole weeks; I am finally backed on the NET!!! Haha…
Life is just so miserable without the Internet... nothing new to watch [my dramas & movies], nothing to check on [Friendster & Emails] and the most important thing - NO ONE TO CHAT WITH [MSN]... But nevermind, its all back right now...

Well, nothing much happen last week… the only thing that happen is I HAVE JUST DECLARE bankruptcy … haha… things are just so stupid and stupid… and still STUPID… cant put all the stupid ness in words, so I choose to just keep this secret to myself… haha… but No worries Pay Day is just next week… that’s the only day I am looking forward to come… that’s the reason why we work right? Haha…
Tomorrow I will be attending an interview about my NATIONAL INSURANCE NO. Well, Malaysia don’t have such thing, so no worries Malaysian in Malaysia… haha… As I am working here legally paying tax, I must have this number while working here [don’t know why thou… haha…]
The working life here is so much better than Malaysia man!!! I am dead serious about that. They have this Pension scheme [its optional] where the government will take a small amount from your salary and sort of keep it for you till the age of your retirement. At the end of the day, you not only have your Pension to spend but the company you worked for will also give you money to spend [sort of another pension]. From what Monika said, averagely one will get about 200 pound per week to spend… its like just … 200 pound!!! By that time, one will already have their own car and house. So what are they going to spend?? 200 pound on food and clothings?? That’s just FANTASTIC … one will be having a luxury life man!!! Haha… not like Malaysia. Only the government servants have pensions, and not to mention the amount of it… haha…

Last week, they were passing this memo around, about a vacancy in NHS, the post of General Manager [GM] Part time [never thought that GM also got part time…]. Guess how much it’s the annual salary. Bare in mind that it’s a PART TIME GM oh … I am just surprise with the amount they are going to be paid. Its 48000 pound annually, meaning about 4k per month, by doing only 3 days of work… Shit!!!
Why my parents didn’t come over to work!!! Ai-seh… accountants are well paid over here!!! Everything is fate I guess. Fated for me to come here and learn about all in my parents’ behalf… haha…. I actually thought of working here if I would have the opportunity in the future. The benefits are so much better than Malaysia, isn’t it?

Oh yah, I was so surprise to receive a Belated birthday card from my 2 grandkids in Malaysia… haha… thanks a lot Robin J.H Low & Y.Y Wong. Of course I got you guys some thing in return, just start checking your mail box everyday… haha…

Tomorrow I got to work till 5.30pm = ( because I will be taking 2 hours off while working to attend the interview. Hate that!!!! Want to go home earlier ah!!!!
Okay, its time to take my bath right now… ciao guys…
