Harry Potter's Casting Place - Alnwick Castle

Alnwick Castle, Northumberland

I stil remember yesterday Brian saying that we will DEPART frm our house at 10am, as usual it wont happen... haha... We actually left house at 10.40am which was consider as GOOD, lol.

We arrived Alnwick at 1pm, then had our lunch at a restaurant.
I had Cod Fish with Mash Pototas with some herbs [cant remember =P].
Man it taste FANTASTIC ^^. I'm always a fan of mash potatos ^^.

Dan had muscles in a bowl of creamy white soup. If you see the amount of shells of the muscles you can just imagine the amount of food the hantu consume.... KONG BU...
But that dish was realllly GOOD ^^.



After makan, fist stop was Alnwick Garden. The crowd was really big as it's Bank Holiday. Lots of family decided to have a family day.
Entrance fee for an adult is £12. Since everyone but me are student, the cashier thought that I was a student as well, so I got to buy the student price which is 50pence off ><''// better than nothing i guesss... haha...

There's a TREE HOUSE in the Garden. Everything there is mad of WOOD.
There's 2 hanging bridge. Basically what we did was just walk around using the hanging bridge. Not that scary to be honest cause its really secure compared to Msia's NS [thats what Gary told me, papan ada LUBANG... haha].



After the Garden, here comes the Alnwick Castle.
The minute we walked out from the path, the 'GIANT' just amazed everyone. Its truely magnificent. From the view, you can see all the towers all preserved well, every stone, brick.
There was a big piece of field just outside the castle. That reminds us of Hindi Movies..gaga... really... you can just roll down from the hill or you prefer to run with a selendang behind... haha...


The first place we enter was a dungeon.

The dungeon was used to keep prisoners. Trust me, I saw bones in the dungeon which was built beneath the castle. Of course we couldnt get down to have a look.
This reminds me of a show called THE MOST HAUNTED. Its a bunch of wu liao people exploring the castles in UK midnight to 'check' whether is there any spirit in the castles, TRUST me.... THERE ARE LOTS OF THEM....



We then went to the 'store room' of the castle. The place where all the antiques are safely kept. That the most valuable part of the castle, cause the security system was sooooooo sensitive that we must off our mobiles & no cameras were allowed inside. This proves how valuable the stuff were inside.
The old guy workin there was reallly super nice. He actually told us that, all antiques MUSNT be handled with bare hands. Reason being is your hands are damp [more or less] which has a certain level of acidity which then will lead the antiques to rust & damage of course.
Every thing inside was presevered so well that you never ever thought that they are 300 years old.
The sculptures were beautiful. As for the painting, I am not soo much of a ART fan so to me sama saja... haha... They are just like inside the Harry Potter Movies where they play the role of HANTU.
If only I could take the photos of the crafting, the ceiling, the pillers... Its just undescribeable.
And we were sooooo shocked to knew that the castle is OWNED by SOMEONE.
HE ACTUALLY OWN THE WHOLE DAMN THING. Thats the reason why we see PRESENT PEOPLE photos in the library. No way during ancient time they hav COLORED PHOTOS.
If I am not mistaken the lady told is its The Percy Family. Their ancestor own the castle since 1930 till now... 700 years ah!!!!
The second largest inhabited castle in England after Windsor, which still live here holding their titles of, the Earls and Dukes of Northumberland since 1309.
OMG>>> HOW COOOOL IS THAT!!!!! WHy my ancestors tak ada CASTLE DE... haha... Nvm then...
Not to mention, after Prince William, Ther Percey Family is SECOND... SECOND ah... OMG>>> Can you imagine the wealth!!!!!


We visited the Knight's School where I took a photo with a little girl dressed up like the olden days Princess, CUTE. Boys were dress in Knights armer etc... haha...





At 4.45pm we left the castle.
At the exit there were some Harry Potter Notice board... haha

Alnwick Castle is used for A LOTS of movies making... Surprisingly huh...


Something really intersting or should I say I make a NEW & YOUNG friend, 7 years of age ><''//... haha
Her name is Laire [If I m not mistaken], a Korean mix British. MAN SHE IS SUPER SUPER ADORABLE, PRETTY, SMART.
The minute she speaks KOREAN, IMPRESSIVE dude.... There were a Korean dude with a korean girl sitting just next to us. Oh yah, Laire insisted that she wants to sit with me + P... haha...
She communicated with the guy in Korean... THe only thing I understand was CHIN-GU [pointing at me, which means friend I think], and the word OH-BAH, OH-Ni... haha...
She hugged everyone including me. Oh yah, she said, "I bet your mum isnt as pretty as you...".... GAGAGA>>>> hahaha...
We took a few photos & I wanted to send to her through email but being a 7 years old she doesnt have one... So, her mother gave me her number telling me that she has fallen in love with me O.o ... haha...
Maybe i should ring her sometime... haha...


Laire know about 4 languages. English, Korean, a bit of Japanese & a little of German. We were like... WHAO!!!! Thats super isnt it!!!!!
Dan & Brian was joking saying that ALL OF US ARE MIX MA!!! haha... Hokkien + Guang Dong, Hokkien + Hai Lam, Guang Dong + Hakka.. hahaa.. Isnt that MIX?? Haha..
About knowing a few languages at the age of 7... hahaa...
We too know Malay, English, Chinese, Hakka, Cantonese, Hokkien in the age of 7 too right... hahahahahahahahaha...... ZAR DOU leh... hahahaha....

When we got home, ZIV did something 'GREAT'!
He urien on Adrian's bed.HAHAHAHA>>>>!!!! We couldnt blame him 100% as its been a long day he didnt hav the chance to go out to do his business. But choosing someone's bed isint a GOOD CHOICE at all...
Now everyone 'boycott' Ziv... haha...
Hopefully he learns his lessson .... Poor thing... haha

Changing Skin

Brian's brother, Gary arrived this afternoon.
He's the same age as me, 18, entering Newcastle College.
Dont really know him, so nothing to say.

When I check my Gmail, i seriously laugh at my mum's email.
She told me that my previous cookies skin ISNT USER FRIENDLY at all = P
Generation Gap I guess... haha...
Thats why now I am back with my very first skin.
Looks neat & sweet. Since winter is coming [after 3 months... haha], having a snowy white skin isnt too bad after all...

Tomorrow's Bank Holiday & thats the reason why I am still staying awake at such hours.
Tomorrow will be going to Alnwick Castle where the biggest part of the Harry Potter movie was shot.
The castle isnt REALLY BIG like in the movie. Several castles were used to shot that movie & one of it is Alnwick Castle & Durham Castle.
I dint know that when I went to Durham Castle... WERID... But nevermind... Dont really bother with it.
The most important thing is ENJOY OURSELVES + )

Shopping Part 2

Was freakin tired when I got home ><''//
Don't know what the hell happen to my body metabolism. I actually woke up at 7am ><''//.
Whats the difference between normal workin time & weekends then?????
But I forced myself back to bed till 9.30am. Not too bad...

Its my first time having lunch with MF in Eldon Garden. Man the food there was GREAT... Each of us had jacket pocket and a omelette to share. I paid as I just got my pay last night... haha... and the bill was 25 pound.
Gotta go there again next week... or next month with my dear stupid brother ^^.

After fillin up our stomach, its time for SHOPPING!!!!!
As we spent alot of our time in our lunch we have only 3 hours to shop ><''//.
First stop was USD [if i m not mistaken =P]. Thought of getting a really nice scarf to tie on the head, but just couldnt find that.
I was actually lookin for a jacket to be wore during Autumn & Winter & back at Msia. You guys must hav been thinkin tat I'm crazy... No I am Not.. haha.. I'm lookin for something like denim or some alike material. Tat case during winter, i just need to wear something thicker inside & just put on the jacket. While back in Msia, I can wear that to College, am I right? gaga...
Didnt plan of getting any proper winter jacket, you know those big thick jackets. Cause I have already 2 i think tats enough last me for the year...haha...

Next stop was World of Sports. MF's jersey got a tiny little hole at the coller & she wanted to exchange for a new one. The bad news was they are running out of that size ><''//. I got this pink color Nike bag there... haha... Perfect for my trip to Lake District... ahahaha


We then went to TOPSHOP. wahahha... Bought 7 necklace... wahaha.. damn freakin HAPPIE... haha...
I tried on a sort of bare back 2 in one blouse which I personally think that its pretty nice... bt MF said I looked fat in that as its horizontal strips ><''//.
Just after I paid, I only saw a really nice leather bag [again]. This time its a sling type with broad strip. If... IF i see that bag again, I will buy it... If not.. thats fate...gaga...

Nevermind then we proceed to Miss Selfridge. Wahaha again... Bought this little thing. I m not so into fashion thats why I dont really noe the names...
Its quite popular here, since Spring till Summer. Dont think you can just wear that out during Autumn. But you can wear it inside & put on the jacket. Anyway, Adeline told me its sort of getting popular in Msia [which I think its so outdate ><''//]. So might as well get that... Its really adorable... haha...


Before leaving Eldon Square we went to The Body Shop.
Sometimes I just cant blame my mum calling me a 'naughty girl'. I bought this pack of lipbalms... hahaha.... Not to mention I have 3 bottles of them at home... haha...
They are just sooo irrestitable okay... haha


Just before leaving Veronica called up & ask whether are we intrested in watchin THE CAVE. Of course i said YES. Movie is always in my Malaysia outing MUST event [Dont know why thou...]. But MF choose to go back to Metro Center and hav the jersey changed.

Veronica paid for the tickets while I treat her & Brian Haagen Daaz.
The movie wasnt too bad at all. There were some shockin moments.
Eddie Cibrian who plays the role of TYLER was HOT!!! When he wore the diver suit, man... his perfect body shape is all shown... haha... And his musculer shoulder... haha...

Well, thats all for the night...

Everyone gone mad with jersey... haha...
Right after work I took the bus to Metro Center.

Everyone went to SPORTS WORLD & bought Chelsea jersies... They were saying everyone got to wear the same jersey down to Lake District as its part of Chelsea woh [not too sure] then have a group photo with everyone wearing the same thing ....

Everyone seems to hav a favourite club to support, but I dont have... So I went for the HOTTEST club for now.. haha...
Wanted to get a England one too... but... as buying 2 jersey is quite expensive di... so... next time ^^ haha...

Veronica & Brian bought the Newcastle one... For me... I will & MUST get those as I am staying in Newcastle, thats why I MUST have one... Just that not today... haha...

Collecting jersey is soo fun & expensive... haha... so.. got to do it in the slow & cool way... haha... 2 each time... haha...

WHile paying, I saw this cap frm ADIDAS which I think its really nice.
I need a new cap for Lake District as my MU cap lost in Paris ... shit.... I love my MU cap VERY MUCH!!!!!!!! Couldnt find the same one again.. !!!!!! SHIT LA!!!!!
Okay, back to the counter... Since I feel that the cap is really nice, I just took it without caring who's signature is on it... or which club it is frm...
When i show it to Dan, he told me that it is Raul's signature!!!!! I was like !! WHAT!!!! The cute dude frm SPAIN!!!! hahaha.... He is number 7 in Real Madrid, so as the cap!!! YEA!!!! haha...






Since everyone has a jersey right now... we must all watch football together LIVE every Saturday & Sunday [thats the only days I m off ><''//]..........
