Hiroshima 60th Anniversary

Watch the Hiroshima 60th Anniversary documentry last night. Regreted watching it so late as i forgotten that it was on air last night. Now only I know 2 of the bombs were NOT let off simultaneously but was let off at different days...
It was the 2nd bomb at Nagasaki that made the Japs surrender...
And they didnt have any problem of getting a landing place after the bombing ><''//
[Scene where Danny, Josh Harnett died... haha]
[stupid Pearl Harbor by Micheal Bay mis-lead me ><]

After watching it, I made 2 conclusion.

NO.1 - STOP WAR, especially Nuclear war which is the hottest topic of all.
One cannot imagine the pain & suffering the Japanese had gone through.

There was this lady [one of d survivor] told her tale.
Her son was trapped under piles of woods & rocks. He was shouting for his mother to save him, screaming crying of pain... The mother tried to save him... but couldnt... she witness the death of her son... listen to every shouting, crying & screaming of his...
She said," Forgive mum for not being brave enough to die for you... I am not a good mother..."
HOW SAD IS that...

The bodies were badly burnt... Just like the skinless chicken... Flesh covering bones... Dead bodies floating on river while they were seriously shortage of water...
Seeing the injury on their body was just heart breaking, I nearly cried. Eyes became watery

The scene where the bomb exploded was just breath taking & scary...
It even scared the American pilots themselve. They themselve said, "What the hell have we done...."
Its just like in the movies... where black cloud rose high above into a big round black 'ball' of highly radioactive clouds & dust.
WHen it rained, the dust which are highly radioactive dislove into the rain water and form BLACK RAIN DROPS...
How scary is that...
Many Japs drank the water because they ar just that thirsty... Without knowing that how dangerous it is to drink the 'poison'...

After seeing this, who the hell will want to have a nuclear war...
Nuclear is much much deadly than ATOM...
I just cant imagine...
Some dude said this - There will never be a winner in a nuclear war.

NO2. - I TRUELY RESPECT THE JAPS.

Inspite of the mass distrustion & losses that cannot be found, they manage to stand up again, facing the new world with all the pain.
They started everything frm scrap... or should i say, start everything from NOTHING...
They used 500 years to prepare themselve to 'take over' the world, but they use 50 years to be the world leading country in technology ... How amazing is that...
The spirit of the Japs are just incredible.
I remembered a phrase frm the narrator saying " We can loose the war [or spirit? cant really remember =P] but we cannot loose our HEART!"
Thats the spirit that drove the Jap to be such a powerful country...

The documentray was shown on BBC1. Guess how smart the mat salleh were...
Now the Hiroshima documentry is on DVD... available in all stores ><''//
But luckily they did that, cause thats the thing i want to buy.... Miss the front part.
Besides that, its a really good collection to keep, I believe that Dad will NOT SCOLD me nor disapprove me from buying it, right dad? hahaha...
This friday, HMV here i come....
Love watching such meaningful show...
