Unpredictable

Alystair [I think the spellings like that, not too sure] is leaving next Friday. Found a better job I guess. I think its a wise decision to MOVE. Its not that this job is terrible but its a really boring job... especially after working for 5 years at the same company doing basically the same thing over and over and over again... that’s why I agree that Alystair made a right move.
The surprising thing for me to know was Alystair actually don’t like Zarna… And I was like???? Serious???? Both of them sure look normal in the public. From what Stacy said was he don’t like her because she seldom speak to him and constantly doing her work, I mean NON-STOP… and to my surprise the new batch of people actually don’t really like her too [including me…]. They said she’s stuck up. Stuck up in a way that she thinks she know everything [which the fact is true she knew best than we do] and always look at people in a way that makes people feel uneasy. I personally experience that whenever I ask her something about the work, she gives you this awkward look that just make you feel dead uncomfortable, as if she is looking down at you and feel that you are so annoying [that’s why I don’t like asking her things… unnecessary things].
We too heard that she might be leaving [just not too sure].
I guess everyone is just starting to feel bored with the job and need a new life.

But this is how the world works I guess, there is all sort of human beings walking in the street. You just can’t do anything about it, cant you? Maybe that’s her personality and we just can’t help it but except it.

Wonder will there be a farewell dinner for Alystair? The new batch of people had just made a ‘deal’ of going for dinner every Friday after work; try out all different kind of food in city. I think its great to experience everything NEW with colleagues [I’ve never done that as I never have any colleagues… haha…]. But I don’t think I will be attending EVERY week’s outing. Maybe twice a month, depends to which restaurant we go to. Looking forward to this weeks outing? Maybe yes maybe no, depends to my wallet… haha…

Back On Track Babiee

Finally I got to online… after 2 whole weeks; I am finally backed on the NET!!! Haha…
Life is just so miserable without the Internet... nothing new to watch [my dramas & movies], nothing to check on [Friendster & Emails] and the most important thing - NO ONE TO CHAT WITH [MSN]... But nevermind, its all back right now...

Well, nothing much happen last week… the only thing that happen is I HAVE JUST DECLARE bankruptcy … haha… things are just so stupid and stupid… and still STUPID… cant put all the stupid ness in words, so I choose to just keep this secret to myself… haha… but No worries Pay Day is just next week… that’s the only day I am looking forward to come… that’s the reason why we work right? Haha…
Tomorrow I will be attending an interview about my NATIONAL INSURANCE NO. Well, Malaysia don’t have such thing, so no worries Malaysian in Malaysia… haha… As I am working here legally paying tax, I must have this number while working here [don’t know why thou… haha…]
The working life here is so much better than Malaysia man!!! I am dead serious about that. They have this Pension scheme [its optional] where the government will take a small amount from your salary and sort of keep it for you till the age of your retirement. At the end of the day, you not only have your Pension to spend but the company you worked for will also give you money to spend [sort of another pension]. From what Monika said, averagely one will get about 200 pound per week to spend… its like just … 200 pound!!! By that time, one will already have their own car and house. So what are they going to spend?? 200 pound on food and clothings?? That’s just FANTASTIC … one will be having a luxury life man!!! Haha… not like Malaysia. Only the government servants have pensions, and not to mention the amount of it… haha…

Last week, they were passing this memo around, about a vacancy in NHS, the post of General Manager [GM] Part time [never thought that GM also got part time…]. Guess how much it’s the annual salary. Bare in mind that it’s a PART TIME GM oh … I am just surprise with the amount they are going to be paid. Its 48000 pound annually, meaning about 4k per month, by doing only 3 days of work… Shit!!!
Why my parents didn’t come over to work!!! Ai-seh… accountants are well paid over here!!! Everything is fate I guess. Fated for me to come here and learn about all in my parents’ behalf… haha…. I actually thought of working here if I would have the opportunity in the future. The benefits are so much better than Malaysia, isn’t it?

Oh yah, I was so surprise to receive a Belated birthday card from my 2 grandkids in Malaysia… haha… thanks a lot Robin J.H Low & Y.Y Wong. Of course I got you guys some thing in return, just start checking your mail box everyday… haha…

Tomorrow I got to work till 5.30pm = ( because I will be taking 2 hours off while working to attend the interview. Hate that!!!! Want to go home earlier ah!!!!

Things to Buy back to Malaysia

I found THE THING that I must buy a lot back to Malaysia. Guessing what is that, its perfumes. I am going to buy a lot of perfumes back to Malaysia. Perfumes here are dead cheap, it’s about 15 pound for the small bottle. Isn’t that cheap or what!!!! Perfumes in Malaysia is dead expensive > <’… Haha… Going to buy perfumes…
Haha… I saw a Ferrari perfume and I dead like it… its not that I like the fragrance, I didn’t even have a taste of it… haha… I just love Ferrari… haha… maybe because of its bloody red color… haha… what’s the point of collecting perfumes? Of course it’s because of the Bottles la… DUH >>>> haha… collecting perfumes means collecting really nice and unique bottles… Looks like I found a new hobby… haha…

Veronica and I went to Clinton to get some wrappers for Ze Keng’s birthday present. She bought him a Hugo Boss perfume for only 15 pound… isn’t that cheap or what!!!! [That’s why I learn that perfumes are dead cheap… haha…]
Clinton is just like Malaysia’s Memory Lane. Selling all cute and nice stuff… from cards to cups to soft toys etc. just that the things they sell are much nicer much meaningful [westerners always have really meaningful stuff from cards to mugs]. I just fall in love with that shop AGAIN… haha… the cards there are just dead lovely. There was this section called LUXURY… the cards are really luxurious. As mother’s day is coming, they are selling these hand made card which cost 10 pound each. Thou its dead expensive but it’s dead nice and sweet. I guess everything has its price to pay.

We then went to Argos. Argos is something similar to MACRO. Just that they don’t sell FOOD. Haha… basically they sell everything. From mobiles to toys and accessories for women and men. Since I will be moving after 2 months, I thought that its good for me to take one of the catalog back home to study and aim for what to buy… haha… well I have already decided to buy a England and MU duvet set… its really nice, red in color with the England and MU logo on top of it… I haven’t really decided on MU but I am sure that I will be getting the England duvet.

Looks like there will be 3 main items I am going shop during my stay here, one, CLOTHES BAGS SHOES PANTS SKIRTS [I think they all fall into the same category – CLOTHINGS… haha…]. Two, greeting cards [I have always loved collecting really nice and expensive cards… and will not send to friends… haha… I am weird I guess… haha…]. Three, perfumes… haha…

Fire Drill

Hahaha, never thought that I would still experience fire practise after graduating from high school. Maybe thats the differece between Western countries & Asian countries. Safety is always NO.1.
When the fire alarm rang I thought it was the usual testing bell thing.. therefore didnt bother about it. After sometime, Steven [i think] stood up and walked to the fire exit calling people to 'run' for their life.. Of course people stood up carrying their most valuable thing with them - THEIR PURSE + HANDBAG.. haha.. Not much people went and get their jacket, so I guess there is no need of doing so. Frankly speaking, I really thought that there is a fire, thats why I abandone my NIKE Jacket and walked to the fire exit. Like what we are thought since young, never run and push.. haha.. Everyone just walk down stairs.

Man.. Its freaking cold... regreted to not take my jacket ah!!! It was so freaking cold and windy.. Even the Britons were shivering, not to say the ASIAN me who always have sunlight 12/7. I was even wearing short sleeve thin tee ah!!! LIKE HELL@!!!!

Everyone just gather there complaining and cursing.. haha..jk jk ..
Everyone was wondering, why were there so few people?? There were juz about 60 people there and the building is HUGE... dont tell me most of the office was vacant??

After 10 minutes... 10 minutes of EATING WIND... we went back to work, guess what...
there were MUCH MUCH more people entering the building from 4 directions, North South East West..
I was like WHAO... canggih... The westerners are so much systematic, I mean they really plan things, even the vacuation, every block has their own fire exit, the safest and fastest way to save your life.

I dont think many Malaysia office have such FIRE DRILL thing... At least not in ACE. Hahaha.... The company who sells GENERAL INSURANCE>>> DONT EVEN HAVE A FIRE DRILL.. haha... Dad got it?? haha...

Freaking Gay Dogs... Its not wrong Just not right.

Today we went to Benton Dogs & Cats Shelter again. This time is because Brian want to know the way there so that its easier for him when he wants to buy the dog.
Driving there is so much faster than taking the train… haha…
This time most of the small dogs were being adopted. They have a lot of new Big Dogs. I really love BIG DOGS >> MUaks >>>
Today’s incident is just a EYE OPENER for me… a really extraordinary fact to learn… DOGS CAN BE GAY >>>> YUKKSS >>>>
There were these 2 bulldogs, looks so cute and blur. Both of them look so alike, just like twins. I know all dogs look alike, but these two are just so like TWINS… hahaha., especially when they stand together barking at people… haha… cute. But their act is just unforgivable. THEY ARE GAY >>>> Okay, its not unforgivable, its just so shocking for me to know the fact that dogs can do such thing – GAY. Its not that they are portraying like gays, they are actually doing THOSE things… eee…. Hahhaa… I don’t discriminate them okay, just that it feels so weird. At that moment there was a kid walking pass the cage trying to pat them... haha… when he saw what they were doing he screamed… haha… the mother smile at us… haha…

Looking at those dogs just made my heart ache. Dogs are such beautiful, loyal, nice, the best creation of God to be frank. And they are treated so badly by humans, abandoned by their owners, tortured by their owners etc. isn’t that awful?
When I see the looks on the dogs, I just feel like taking all of them home, feel like giving them the love and attention they want. They will look at you with that hunger for love face and trying their best to catch your attention, to let you know that HE/SHE exist, and want you to bring them home.
I just pity those dogs in the cage. With such a small room [although its not small] and area to run around, with no one to play with him/her. They must have really feel lonely inside…..

If I will be really filthy rich when I am older, I will open a DOGS shelter my own. Keeping all the dogs like my own children… saving all the abandoned dogs by the street.
If I am really rich, I will do so….

This time I gotta see the horses closer. Haha... man… horse dropping are just HUGE… all over the field…yukkss… and it smells really HORRIBLE… hahaha

Before going back, I made a 2 pound donation… Eh, I POkai okay…. No money la… 2 pound is better than nothing right?? Hahaha….
Well, I just hope that people can learn to appreciate their dogs more… and love them MORE….
