Wai Lee's Birthday

I think its quite a short notice given by her about her birthday party! Changes were made everyday, from eating western food to Indian food and at the end ended up at her flat.
I didnt want to go at first, as my eye was just healing and I didnt want any dust to worsen it. Bt from what I see, it might be a NO ONE party, so the kind hearted me sacrifies abit la.. went with Veronica.

Met up at Morrisons first to grab some stuff. Her present - Rose Wine by Veronica. Haha. Then Wai Lee did ALOT of last minute shopping for food. Lasagna stuff, chips, pasta, liquor etc.
Something super funnny and stupid happend!! HAHAHA!!! We saw the J2o's were on sale, 3 packs for £7.50. The thought of Reef came into our mind immediately and we totally forgotten that J2o's soft drink!! NOT LIQUOR!!! AHAHAHA!!! What we wanted is Reef, not J2o!!! ARGH!! Should have bought Smirnoff Ice which we will SURE NOT make any mistake!

We were more of the cathering staffs rather than guest. Veronica's the head chef while I was just chopping and peeling stuff. haha.
Wai Lee is someone thats very not organised to me. She didnt really have a FOOD LIST. We dont have all the ingredient we need to cook certain dish! The most ridiculous dish would be the curry lasagna!! Ah!!!
Curry + White lasagna sauce + cheese + bacon + green red yellow pepper + sausage = ??? EWWWW!!!!!!
When her friend came with a bottle of spaghetti bolognese sauce she hantam at the top layer! Ew!!!!!! Some how, her Hk-y friends LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that dish!! AH!!! crazy * * * * *
They claim it taste reallllllly super goooooddd!!!!!! So Veronica tried out of curiosity because both of us think that dish wouldnt taste goood because of all the super weird ingredients!
SALTY is the only word to describe that THING!! Bacon and sausage were super salty stuff, not to mention with the CHEESE!! And SALT!!! CRAZY AH!!!!! Luckly I didnt taste that!! Haha. HK ppl have really weird taste huh.. weirdos...
Chole (i think) made the cake!! For the cake, she really deserves all the credit! Its was like what they sell in shops, with almond at the side, icing at the top! Nice deco and taste really nice too!!

THe atmospher wasnt great at all!! Her HK-y friends attended the party with her flat mates. Its a really weird combination. Cantonese speaking and English speaking doesnt mix well. Haha.
After makan we played True or Dare (stupid game). Veronica had a plan so that we could go back early. Know whats that?? Drunk the Birthday girl and we can jsut go home!! Great idea huh!!!! Since she is a super good drinker, this tactic works perfectly well!!! From the first glass or Scottish Wisky, she pured half of the glass with pure wisky and only 1/3 of lemonade!! Ahaha.
ANd Wai Lee being someone that get drunk super easily, 3 glass of those were enough to knock her out! AHAHA!!

Annie, a taiwanese girl was the CLIMAX of the night!! Haha. She was pointed, so its btw True or Dare. SHe got Dare (basically you cant choose, DARE was the only option) and was called to Kissssss SOMEONE (didnt specify oh..). We though she would kissss a girl, but guess what!! She choose to kiss SAM!!!!!!!!!!! AH!!!!!!!!! AHAHAHA!!! Everyone cheer for them and the guy was super embarassssedd!!!! And the kiss she gave was REALLY LOUD!! MUAKS!!!!!! Omg!! That was soo obvious she likes him!! AHAHA!!!
I was pointed once and I choose to drink!! Luckily Veronica diluted that glass of wisky with LOTS of lemonade thats why I wasnt druink that night. Haha.

Party ended at 11.30pm (thx to Veronica's tactic. haha). Sent her back to her room while she's being as usual, talking to herself REALLY LOUD and talking CRAPS and CRAPS!! We helped to clean the house. Basically we did EVERYTHING while the others just clean the litttle rubbish!! Hmmph... HK ppl.. hmph!! Dont wanna say them di la!
Wai Lee's SUPER SUPER DRUNK!!! Wanted to vomit but couldnt ( the worse thing about being drunk) then headache, dizzyness etc. Haha...

Called the cab at 12!! ANd there we go!!!!! HOME!!!!!!!

BLIND!!

The past 3 days were really HORRIBLEEE!!! It happen on Friday when I accidentally poke me eye with the stupid bus pass!! argh!! The pain started after an hour!! And I mean PAINNNNN - HURTSSSSSSSSSSS.
Its the upper side of my eye ball that's hurt and swollen. Ah!!!! Then the eye was full with blood!!! Beside the pupil, basically everything's red!!
Tears kept on streaming ONE SIDE ONLY!!! Then came the running nose - ONE SIDE ONLY!!!
WHat a pleasnt surprise huh. I didnt really know that the eye will afffect the nose!!! Left eye affects left nostril while right eye affect right nostril. Haha. Learnt something new from it I guess.

The second day was the worst!! I cant open my eye and little light made my eye felt very stress and painful! The doc wasnt open on Saturdays, so I m left with only HOSPITAL choice. But I was really lazy to go!! So I whinned!! Called my parents.. Haha.. How I wish mummy's here with me. Then I will be spoilt! Haha!!
So at the end I didnt go hospital and let it heal itself with Veronica's eye drops - choromphelic (cant remember the name, but its something I key in EVERYDAY!!)

Its my first time hurting my eye in my whole 19 year of life!! ANd trust me you will never want to hurt your eye! Not even once!! Hurting your eye means being blind! Which means LIFELESS!! You cant do anything!!! Cant go online, cant read mag, cant watch, cant even SLEEEP cause it hurts!!!
Besides the pain part, its the feeling of not secure thats the most scary thing. Now only I understand the pain of people who turn blind. Its from a world of full with EVERYTHING to a world that has only darkness.
And respect to the blinds! They got so much courage to continue to live like any ordinary humans with their flaws. PROS to them.

Just hope I wont hurt my eye anymore!! Thats the most beautiful part of my face and I dont want to loose it!!!! Haha. = P

First Puff

Brian trick me!!1 He was sick for the past few days and doctor advice him to smoke lesser (duh..). WHen I came home, he was in the kitchen smoking and he ask me do I want to try. He claimed that the one he is smoking is the herbal kind of cigratte which is made to help people stop smoking. I seen that kind of cigratte before and therfore I BELIVED HIM!!!

I didnt suck reallly hard and therefore I dont puff those really BIG BIG smoke out. The minute I felt heat inside my mouth, I stopped!! Then only he tell me - THATS THE NORMAL CIGRATTE!!!!! Just that its mentol, which has a cooler sensation.
To my surprise, I didnt hate the feeling as much as I thought will be. Its actually nothing. Maybe its because I had mentol instead of the normal type which is warmer and smeller (i think). The feeling of smoking to be honest is actually quite nice! haha. I dont know why I am saying that, but I think its pretty goood. But that doesnt mean I support and encourage smoking.
The feeling is nice but the act of smoking is stupid!! Why burn money when you can use the money for other matters like SHOPPING??? Haha.
Thats why I dont think I will get hook up with smoking, whenever I think of the money being BURN BURN BURN BURN!!!

Went to TK MAX today. Dont know what drive me there. WHile working, all in the sudden, got the urge to go to TK MAX to look at their bags. And there I went. Haha.
I lost the NIKE bag during the last break in, thats why I bought another one, nicer.. haha.. by Timberland. Then I bought something quite chilidsih I would say - a small back bag frm Bilabong. -_-.
AND AND AND AND>.. I bought the milk shake beater. Haha. The one Cecila used to beat the egg and sugar. Haha. Its meant for milk shake but she used that for the cake. So, I bought that too!! haah. when I go back, I can do my own milk shake!! * Wee *
Aiyah.. and another aunty utensil I bought - TELFON POT!!! Hahaha!!! Specially for me to cook maggie and soup!! LOL.. haha!!! GOing to bring all those back!! Cause its not cheap!!

Phew... finally the end of another day. Went to Natwest to gao dim some matters. FINALLY!!! Been dragging that matter for weeks. The lady incharge at the Customer Service desk already recognize me reallyl well =). I LOVE her as she has really goood PR and she's super duper friendly (maybe because of her smile). I think I should vote her as the BEST Natwest desk supporter. Haha. Bought some fruits from the stall at the end of the street. Have not seen them during the Winter and all in the sudden they pop out form no where in the beginning of Spring. Maybe Winter's just too cold for them to stand whole day. I am soooo stupid to ask the STUPIDest question. I ask the lady whether is the strawberry they're selling sweet or not. OF COURSE THEY WOULD SAY SWEEEEET!!!! >,<'' The first thing I did when I come home - test the strawberries!!! Luckily its still abit sweet but definately not the kind of sweetness they mention. Brian's sick because the change of weather. So we had congee for dinner. May he get well soon.

Drunk -_-

I was totally in SHOCK when she collapsed right in front of my eyes.
I was super lucky today. When the bus came, the driver only allow 2 person go on board. Amd he was reallly fierce shouting the people who tried to go on board (the 3rd person) =P.

The lady was already standing at the entrance when I went on board, drunk and mumbling to her phone. She kept on offering people sweets and talking to herself really LOUD. It seems that she just got her mortgage settle. I guess she just had a couple of drinks to celebrate.
Someone accidentally stepped on her shoe and she went mad and shouted, "You know how much this shoe cost??!!"

Then the bus made a small turn and there she went - BANG!!!! She felt down, lying flat in the entrance. She was knocked out for a few seconds. The driver called HQ and wanted an ambulance. Next minute she's awake and refused to go to the hospital.
She then said something to the driver and some how it piss the driver off and send her off at the next stop.

Damn man the people here, start drinking when the sky is still bright!! ---___---. I think she's a french cause of her acent.

Okay, I written this post weeksss ago and have always unable to complete it. haha. So here it goes...

This is what I call a true Chinese Martial Art movie. Compared to Jackie Chan's movie, Jet Li has better quality movie. Jackie Chan uses too much special effect, giving me a feeeling that he's trying too hard to make a Hollywood movie. I think that includes Jet Li's - UNLEASH.
I dont really like to see Asians in a Hollywood movie. I dont mean I am not proud that Chinese is being able to be on Hollywood stage. I just got the feeling they sort of sell themselves to the westerners and lost the Chinese quality in them. Especially in most of Jackie Chan's movie. He is more like a clown than a respectable actor to me. That doesnt make me not impress and respect him. In the Asian World, I truely respect him as a actor, a person who give 200% on his work and acting. Just dont quite agree with his acting in Hollywood, thats all.

I am too glad Jet Li took up this movie. All the martial art was SUPERB and its REAL martial art. I believe some special effect were added in it, but its not obvious. It didnt make the picture fake, it helps to intensify every movement and make things even more exciting and REAL. Unlikely Jackie Chan's super special effect. It make everything looked so fake.

Chinese martial arts is very much different compared to others. It portraits gracefulness and power at the same time. Every movement looks so soft and light while others are more stiff and mechanical wise. Even when using weapon, it still have the elegant feeling. Every movement is just an art. Chinese martial arts doesnt only emphasis in power and speed. It also have the soft side. Sometimes using the soft way to encounter great force is the way to win. Maybe thats what Tao's teaching is (I think. Someone definately but not sure who it was. haha) 以柔克刚 (Using tenderness to encounter great force).

Anyway, back to the movie. I think its a good movie, but not SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER GOOD till I want to DIE. Beside the excellent martial art, I learn something from it. Something we always know but dont really practise and truely understand the meaning of it. Which is knowing when to let go... Mostly of the time, we are being too rigid in handling matters. We cant take NO for an answer, cant accept failure. All that might drive us to desperation, ENORMOUS bt unneccesary preasure. Some might even bring disaster.
I always understand this theory but find it VERY VERY tough to put it in practise. But some how this movie sort of make me realize how its should be done. Hence I am always trying to apply this theory in my life.
I got to admit there are alot of moments (especially in UK) where I put alot of preasure on myself for something beyond my control or something that is just unchangeable, something in the PAST. I am starting to learn how to let go, starting to find another alternative and dont be too stubborn in certain matter, just because its beyond our control. Life might be abit eassier.
执着(rigid)... the thing that is in EVERYONE. Who ever can truly practise the meaning of letting go, he would be a HAPPY MAN. Its because of this, Huo Yuen Jia (In the movie) lost his family, because of his obsesss towards winning winning and winning. It was too late for him to understand that.

When I saw Jet Li's interview in a taiwan talkshow. I REALLY RESPECT HIM MAN!!! He was the winner for this thing in china for 5 times - Gold Medal. No one had beaten him that time!!! GENG AH!!! Then it seems that its true taht he USED TO BE an arrogant person. Based on the statement he made about the movie Huo Yuen Jia. He said the movies its about Huo Yuen Jia and him wit 42 years of life experience. So does that mean he was actually as arrogant as Huo Yuen Jia? I believe he has the qualification to be a arrogant person. He is good looking (for a martial art artist really geng la.. compared to jackie chan or sammul hong, lol), he is a good actor, he won so much gold medal etc.
Luckily he came to his consious and learn that no one is the GREATEST in this world. Respect ~

Last Minute Packing

Tomorrow will be going down to London but I had yet pack my stuff (12am). I am using the small orange suite case and guess what Dan said. How you think you are going to be away???
I didnt want to take that but I have NO CHOICE!!! Since the last break in last year, that FELLA took my new Nike travelling back, I didnt buy another one. So... no choice.
I didnt take ALOT of clothes. Just 2 bottoms and 3 tops (for emergency).
Hopefully it will be a good trip. (Which the truth is NO!! As I m posting this after the trip. haha)
