2006 New Year's Eve

Veronica didnt want to wear boots out as the snow just metled and ice were formed, its pretty slippery to wear boots. But I convinced her to wear with me.. hehehe...
We booked our cab at 4.30pm but we miss it... The drive drove off after waiting for 5 minutes. The next one was 4.50pm and to our surprise the fare was really cheap, only £3.10. If we would take the bus out, the total fare would be £4. So I think we got a goood bargain.
But... Veronica lost her mobile in the taxi >,<. We called the cab's office and they told us to collect it from Wallsend Blueline office. That was a bad starter for the night, but it didnt spoil our night.

The fireworks will start at 6pm. We were loitering around talking crap and waiting for Wai Lee to meet up with us. Suddenly we saw red smoke coming from opposite side of the street walking towards our direction.
We didnt know what was that as its not in the website either. Its a bunch of people walking on stilts dressed up like something from a scary fantasy world. All faced were covered, a group of 6 people dressed like ant playing a tempo using drums and 2 other people just walking around 'greeting' and entertaining the crowd.

I got shocked when this creature got near me. I didnt realise she's getting near me and when I raised my head, her hand was just on top of my head and I was gigling and calling help from Veronica. Its because of her costume, everything covered, like those faceless ghost.

At 6pm sharp, the fireworks started. It lasted for 10 minutes and the scenary was really beautiful. Veronica and I were saying next time when we get married we want FIREWORKS!!! Haha...


After the magnificent 10 minutes, we headed for Ice Cube for some drink. I didnt want to have Smirnoff Ice again... Haha.. But I some how ordered it ><. Smirnoff Ice

After eating and drinking, we went for 2nd round - Saint Jack.
Its my first time LOVING clubbing. The atmospher was great and everyone was high. I didnt have any liquor there.. hehe... Instead I have coke ^^. The bartender was super HOT!!!! Wearing a bandanna and with super body mixing liquor and openning bottle of liquor for customers - made me and Wai Lee crazy over him!! haha... Espeically Wai Lee. WHen she got drunk, she kept on pulling me upstairs to see him... Just to seee him -_-''

Something 'new' happend there and I became the victim. A MAD SCIENTIST LOOOK KIND OF SICK ASSSSSSS HOLE touched my BUM!!!!!!! Damn Sui.. Last day of the year also kena bok mong!!! AH!!!!!!!! When I was dancing with the girlfriends, I felt something at my bum and I thought its just some accident. THen again I felt something. Shareen then told me the guy behind was aiming at my bum... Immediatly I SCREAMED!! AH!!!!!!!!!!! As the music was louder than my voice, no one notice. We all stared at him and he still touched me!!! Shareen said if he do it again, we will call the bouncer and chase him out. I moved to the other side so that I will not be the victim. He showed no sign of leaving... instead he targeted VIVA (adrian's girlfriend). Immediately I pulled her forward and started at him!!!! Then only he left but not long after that he RETURN!!!!! So we decided to move the whole gang to the other side.
He was sooo sickenning... Look like he was in huge stresss and doing such stupid idiotic sickening stuff!!! DIE LA!!!!!!!!!!!

We didnt stay till countdown, thanks to the two stupid idiotic 17 & 18 year old teenager - Roy and Gary. They drank so much and got really drunk taht we were forced to go home.. If not Veronica will get some lecture from Brian. They werent the only people got drunk - Wai Lee's another one. She was so drunk that I gotta bring her home. When we were in the queue of getting our cab, she still insisted of going for countdown and seeing the handsome bartender. I decided to bring her home cause I cant imagine if I really leave her alone, she will surely be loitering by the street and might get herself intodeeep shit!

In the cab she was talking non-sense and speaking out REALLY loud. The driver wasnt in good mood either.
The minute we reached our house, our pretty neighbour was on the way out for a last drink of the year. Again Wai Lee giler again... Wanna followed her to drink too. I gotta run after her and chased her to get her back. In the house, she didnt get better either. Still shouting and being stupid. I really hate people being drunk and being stupid. It just disgust me!!!

We ended up watching London's 2006 Celebration Live Broadcast. At 12.40am, my brother and Brian came back from work. They bought F meal as celebration. We then called ABC cab for Wai Lee to go home. Everyone had such a goood supper and was super FULL.

Shopping Day 5

I did NOT PLAN to go out today ~ I SWEAR!!! But I need to go to 2 banks!!
So out I m out again ~
This time I brought Veronica to Kurt Geiger cause she wanted to get the same bag as mine. She couldnt decide which color to pick. Its between my greenish blue and her pinkish blue. I wanted to buy a good shoe from that shop but its either too expensive or there's no nice one. I found a white leather boots but too bad the opening was too loose. So I gave up. At the end Veronica took the pink one and I got nothing >,<. Later then we went to HSBC then to Natwest. Veronica was in the room purchasing a bankdraft therefore Gary, Roy (the new comer) and Me went into Eldon Square to exchange the tee I bought from Topman last night. THere again, I shopped -_-''. I bought myself this quite fashionable cap. Something I think wore by punk people - something Blink 182 I think .
Then I bought a pair of jeans for Dan & exchanged the tee for a bigger size for Dan.

The guys wanted to buy a pair of sports shoe, so they went to World of Sports while I went to Miss Selfridge (again). I didnt plan to buy any boots after walking out from Kurt Geiger but there's this pair displayed on the rack tempthing me to try it on. ANd I did try it on and BOUGHT IT!!! Ah!!!!!!!!! Reason of me buying was its worth it as its 100% pure leather. Since Malaysian's are wearing boots shopping, I dont see why cant I do that too. So I bought that thing... haha.. I Think it will go well with the pants I just bought days ago ^^.

While walking out Eldon Square preparing to GO HOME... Veronica and I went into La Senza and... haha.. Bought ourselves a house coat (Thats what granny calls that) / night gaun? It was so adorable that I want to buy all back.... But... got to choose only one ><... ANd I choose red bunny =)


We took the 62 bus home. We were actually planning to cook curry chicken for dinner but the damn Indian Style's delicious aroma made us cancel that plan. Instead we had indian takeaway. DAMN THEIR INDIAN FOOD IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats all for the night... and I am getting really tired of updating so many stuff within a day......
I swear I didnt want to go out everyday and shop!!!! Its because I was forced to ><.. hehehe....
Anyway tomorrow's New Year's Eve... Wish everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! ANd may everyone has a prosperous new year. Might be going out with Veronica & friends for a drink AGAIN...and watch Fireworks at Civic Center. This time I swear I WONT TAKE ANY ALCOHOL. I am planning to take COKE.. hehehe...

Shopping Day 4

It was still snowing today. And its getting heavier (I think). Early morning Dan and I walked to Chillingham road's post office as there was a parcel for him. We went to 2 different post office along that road and still not able to retrive the parcel cause ITS THE WRONG POST OFFICE!!!!! Only today I knew that there are 3 post office at my area. WHY THE HELL they need so many post office... WEIRD & STUPID!!!

After 2 failure visits, we went to McD for branch. Later Veronica & Brian came meeting up with us.
Today's the day Brian's super far far far relationship cousin arriving Newcastle. Gary only met him once when he was 17 and Brian didnt even SEE him before. Isnt this far or what? haha... Veronica, Brian and Gary did not sleep last night preparing the new comer's stuff and room. Gary trade room with Brian as the 2 guys need more room compared to the couple. So yesterday they were busy moving things up and down. When they arrived McD their face were full with exhaustion.

After makan, 3 of them went back while I went to City to get some things done - enquiry the plane ticket's price back to Malaysia for me and Dan. Again, I was too lazy, tired and cold to go out but was force to -_-''
It was still snowing and the scenary was still nice. This time I remember to take my camera out and got the chance to take a few snaps.

The crowd was not affected by the bad weather as there's many people on the street. I wanted to go to Star Travel first but...haha... Always something will come in the way - Kurt Geiger. It was on sale so I went in and have a look. I alwys love their shoes but they were super expensive -_-''. But the design and quality are really first classs. I spotted a bag there =_P... ~ Bags again ~ I liked the design and the color... So I BOUGHT IT.. haha...


I LOVE LOVE LOVE their sales man. As Kurt Geiger is a big brand, the sales man and women they employ are quite high standard. THey wear slacks tie suites and a super friendly smile, it makes you feeel nice. The salesman was SUPER DUPER HOT!!!! Tall, handsome, gentleman, friendly, what else can you ask for? haha...
Later then I went to Star Travel regarding the plane ticket. Every counter was busy with people thats why I spent 15 minutes waiting for my turn >,<. After checking the price, it shows that purchasing the ticket from Chinatown is much cheaper than this travel agency. Next stop was Topshop.Topman. Topshop was as busy as usual. I always cant find any clothes there. THe only thing I always buy from there are their accesorries. Finallly I found something that will go well with one of the tee I bought. Luckily we went to Topshop at the first day of sale cause that day they use bags instead of plastic bags =P.
It seems that fake pearl necklace is the trend right now. Only pink pearls were on sale but what I want is WHITE pearl... Looks like I need to wait for it to be on sale -_-



From Topshop I went to Topman. Got a tee for Dan. I then got a XS tee for myself but after trying on only I know the cutting was not suitable for me. As guys have broader shoulder the collar was too big and wasnt suitable for me. Thats why I need to refund it tomorrow ><.

When I walked out from Topman I was pretty tired. Therefore I BALIK RUMAH!!!!!!
TAK BOLEH TAHAN ANYMORE!!!!!!
It was quite a good day though... Cause there's SHOPPING!!!!!!!

SNOW DAY . Shopping Day 3 - Morrison

The minute I open my eyes everything outside the window were covered with whity white snow. The scenary was superb. Everything looks so pure and white. The view was different as the beginning of the year as this time its from the rooftop, so the scenary was much nicer.

As I had been out 2 days, I didnt want to go out today but when I met Wai Lee on the net, she said she will be going to Morrison to get some food. That reminds me of getting snacks for myself =P. But I was too tired and lazy to go out. Not to mention the icy weather outside -_-''
I hesitated for an hour whether OUT or STAY? At the end - I WENT OUT.
And you know what, I walked there instead of taking the bus >,<''
It was a rough journey. The snow was still falling very heavily. While walking the snow was flying right at your face and with the freezing wind blowing - you can be frozen easily.

When I arrived Morrison my coat was covered with snow and was wet when the snow melted.
There I met Wai Lee, walking next to me.

After shopping for food, I faced my second dilemma. SHould I take the bus or cab?? At the end, I took the bus home.
Carrying those heavy bags home was not fun. Luckily the snow stopped if not it would be another 'trip to hell'.
But I did not regret walking to Morrison cause the scenary was really pretty. You can see these in the bus. Especially the scenary at the railway track with the bold trees - MARVELLOUS. Something you will never ever find it in Malaysia. Too bad I didnt bring my camera out. Even I did bring its impossible for me to take cause of the snow and my frezzing shivering hand.

Shopping Day 2

Wai Lee wanted to go shopping but no one to company her. It would be so pitiful if she go shopping alone, so I decided to GAI YI HEI company her out.
I didnt know why I wore that thin out!! I wore summer wear during winter... am I crazy or what??!!! And it rain ICE that day. Damn ~

I met up with Wai Lee in Eldon Square. She bought a pair of boots yesterday and she wanted to refund it cause she bought another pair. Before even refunding the boots, we went to The Body Shop and spent quite a long time there and lost £3. Quater of the shop is on sale with body wash, body butter, creams and other christmas package * cute *. As I am having MiFei's almost finished cop Body Shop card, I got the £10 gift when I purchased £10 above. I am eligible to get ONE gift cost less than £10 or more than £10 then just pay for the extra. So I went for the 60ml Oceanus perfume which cost only £11. Then all I need to pay was just £1. Mana tau - they were running out of the 60ml and left only 30ml!!!!! If refused to redeem the gift today, I need to purchase another £10 . WHAT the HELL!!! Its so hard to buy £10 from that shop as I am not so keen with the body care stuff, so I went for the 30ml which cost only £7. THIS MEANS I SIT DAI £3 to the stupid shop!!!!! Geik sei la!!!!!
I found something precious there.. haha... its Facial Flannel. Its so soft when its wet and the cleanse your face darn clean without hurting the skin=).

When we left The Body Shop, its already 3.30pm but the crowd's still busy shopping.
We went to Thornton to buy CHOCOLATES!!!!!! * WEE * ~ Super NICE!!!! SUPER Delicious!!!Especially the dark chocolate = } so I bought 3 packets... haha....
Later than we went refund her boots in Dolcis. I was so near of buying a pair of pointed high boots too >,< size="5">ZARA!!! hahaa...

By the time we came out from the fitting rooom and queing to pay, ZARA's closing. Annoucements were made to rush customers to pay as fast as possible.

Later we 3 girls went for dinner in Chinatown. Was planning to go for Tien Tien but it was full house, so we went to Ichiban. We sat there eat, drink and basically talk CRAP!! haha...
The waitress accidentally dirty my jacket with a few drops of soya sauce. I was damn angry ~ !!!! But wat ever, I still smile at him and say its okay ( so fake..haha). We met Gary there with 2 of his friend, too having dinner. When we were leaving the shop, the 3 guys we met last night were coming in. I told Veronica we shouldnt have eaten so fast, that way we might have a chance to get a free ride home ^^. Any how we said goodbye and was on our way to the bus stop.... Thats the time the real began.
I suggested having a drink to make myself warm before going to the bus stop. As you know, I wore summer wear that night and its freaking cold at night, 0 degree. So we went into a Indian restaurant/cafe - Ice Cube. I cant figure out why they used that name cause I cant see any connection between the name and the decoration or the food.

Veronica introduced me Smirnoff Ice. Last time I had Smirnoff Red which is much stronger. Smirnoff Ice is a contray with Smirnoff Red as its sweet and the alcohol content is only 5%. But still it managed to get me drunk -_-''.
While waiting for the drinks to arrive, Veronica called Gary and his friends to join us, so here came John (Hong-ky) and Stella (M'sian).
Wai Lee's first drink was Malibu. The one I wanted to try after watching its commercial. For her's as she added lemonande in it, it taste more lemonade than its original liquor. I like my bottle of drink as its sweet and you dont feel the liquor.
Gary's the one who had lots of drink that night - tequila, rum, and somethin (cant recall). Not to mention all PURE without any coke or lemonade... I tried a sip of tequila and it taste like SHIT!!
I was high when I drank only half of that bottle (250ml). I felt my head becoming heavier and heavier... And I was sort of talking non-sense... haha...

When we paid everything and were to leave, the minute I stood up - the problem really began. I felt soo dizzzy and felt like throwing up. Immediately I went to the loo and guess what- I VOMITED!!! Eww ~ ~
Its my first time having such experience. My last time being drunk in Uncle Young's place wasnt as bad as this cause I didnt throw out.
After the first time vomiting, the dizzness didnt go away. I was okay when sat down, but the minute I stood up the dizzness came back. Veronica told me to force it out, vomit 2nd round.
After the second round only I feel OKAY. My redness was gone and I am awake again.

First thing I do when I reached home was - SLEEEEEEP haha... To be more precise, I fell asleep while watching drama... =P
After this experience, I dont think I will be drinking for a very long time ~ it just dont feeeel goood -_-''

Boxing Day

Boxing Day - A holiday Malaysia doesnt have. ANd its the day the Sales starts offically (I think =P)
Veronica and I went shopping with 2 new friends she just met from someone's birthday party. Believe it or not its such a small world. One of the girl is a taiwanist - LISA, while another is a Malaysian who so happen to be from Catholic High School, a year older than me - Wai Lee.
Its nice to meet someone's familar... someone from the same high school.

Our first stop was Topshop. No one will ever believe such thing will happen!!! I couldnt find any nice and suitable tops or bottom there. So I went for bags * wee *. THere's one bag which was not bad, so I decided to buy it. When I pay the scanner showed it was only £1... the sales girl was shocked herself. She commented the bag was really nice and when she knew the price she said she will get one herself too.
When Veronica knew it, she too went looking for a £1 bag. Know whats the trick? For Veronica's case, I told her to find those which are left only ONE, ONe and OnLy one. Then to clear the stock they will of course had it on a SUPER sale. I regretted not taking that bag for myself!!!! HOW STUPID AM I!!!!!!!!!!!

Later than we went to Miss Selfridge. What I got from there? Its those kind of pants which is in fashion right now, but in denim.

I wanted to get a pink color pearl kind of necklace, but it didnt really match the clothings I am planning to wear to the theater, so I gave up and planned to get it from other shop.

Wai Lee was looking for a pair of boots, so we went to a shoe shop. She's quite choosy so we didnt manage to get a pair. But Lisa found one immediately, quite nice and cute.

Later then, we went to Accessorize. The whole shop was on a 50% off, almost all... But the thing I wanted to buy most wasnt on sale >,< - HATS. I couldnt see any accessories & bags that are nice, for the very first time, I didnt buy any necklace from that shop... haha.. Maybe because I was too tired to go search for one ^P^
But I got myself a hosiery from it. I couldnt decide on which patter should I buy, so I got a floral maroon one. I feeel like getting more of those, but I am afraid that its not suitable for Malaysia's weather. But dont care... I too got a hairband which is suitable for my that night's outfite...haha. While in the shop, I met Heidi and her colleague who had just finish their work.We were all exhausted when I walked out from Accessorize. At least Veronica and my arms were tired.

I bought my boots from River Island, therefore I recomanded Wai Lee to have a look at that shop. As usual, we were always able to find something to buy from any shop. The bad thing about that shop that day was - NO TRYING. They were afraid that the fitting room's queue would be too long, so they close the fitting rooom. Still Veronica and I each grabbed a bottom... haha... We had till 29th December to refund if its not suitable. Luckily I didnt buy this last week before the sales starts cause it was on a 50% off =)

We met some of Brian's friends when I came out from River Island. They wanted to Cruise but Wai Lee and Lisa wanted to shop for boots so we went our separate ways.
The guys wanted to go Men's Accessories, so they went in and Veronica and I went into O'neil.
OMG!!!! I found a tote bag I LOVE SOO MUCH!!!! But it wasnt on SALE!!!! So I decided to wait till year 2006 and see whether will there be any sale... haha...
Veronica did get herself a furry bag which cost only £10.. super cute one... I am wondering whether should I get that too.. hmphmm...

Later than we walked to Cruise and guess what? Its closed that day!! haha...
Veronica need to buy a bottle of wine for Brian's mechanic but all the shops which sells wine were close, so I suggested her to get wine glasses for him. Hehe...

Then come the same old situtaion - WHERE TO GO NEXT?
Wai Lee wanted to go makan but the guys were all still full so we ended up GOING HOME while Wai Lee balik rumah masak maggie... haha....

I was being teased by the guys on the way back. Saying one of the guys want to kao me (teasing of course) but I didnt know how to respond... made me damn awarkward nia -_-''
Any how.. its quite a good day, bought quite some good stuff with a bargain price.. hehe...

Christmas Day

Its my little ruddof raindeeer frm WHS Smith ~ Isnt he cute ^^ ~ Merry Christmas

We didnt have the traditional Christmas dinner, instead we had seafood - Giant Crab & Lobster =)
It was pretty great... everyone had a good meal. But the process of killing the crabs were cruel. As the crabs were still very alive, the method used to cook them was quite ferocious.
1st - throw them into boiling water while they were still alive. The sight of they sturggled in the boiling water was really pitiful.
2nd- cut them into half & depart their legs with body ~ eww ~
3rd - cook them with sauce or bake in oven ~ tasty ~

But the technique of eatting crabby was really a pain in the ARSE!!! That explains why I dont like to eat crabbies with shell >,<. Usually when there's crab, dad will be the one knocking here and there while we will be the one enjoying the fresh jucicy delicious meat ~ Yummy ~.
The crabs shell here were much harder than the Malaysia's crabby. Maybe its because they are from the big sea.


We baked the lobsters with cheese + lemon juice + salt + pepper. But we regret putting the black pepper as it covered the taste of the fresh lobster.
As for the crabs, we prepared it by the usual way - BRIAN being the chef and FRY with super hot chillie ~ Yummy ~ but extreamly hot!!!!
THe funny part was when Brian was frying the crabs, he found out some of it were only half cook. He cursed and sweared who the hell got this idea to boil the crab till only half cook cause its so tiring and hard to coook the crab as its soo heavy and hard. Who to blame? Adrian... haha... Brian's expression while cooking the crabs were dman funny... As if he was having a tough war with the crabbs... haha...

After eating afew piece, I gave up cause I got tired & full after struggling with those hard shells.

It wasnt the best Christmas but its after all a different Christmas =)
